MESSAGE FROM PRESIDENT DIRECTOR
TOTAL has successfully improved its business growth and performance achievement compared to the previous year. TOTAL has also performed the development and improvement of HR competence through internal and external trainings held by the Company. The implementation of quality is a strategic and anticipatory measure amidst the development of Indonesia’s economy that is currently on an upward trajectory.
TOTAL continues to implement international standards policies in order to deliver qualified building construction. This policy covers the crossed culture acknowledgement and world class construction performance. TOTAL has done some joint operations with international construction companies and sents its employees to attend various training events to upgrade their competence and to explore international business ethics.
TOTAL delivers its quality service according to the international-accredited ISO 9001 and implements a framework providing service excellence and the greatest human resources, equipment, and system.
We continue to demonstrate our best achievements by leveraging expertise in all aspects of project management in each stage. This aims to improve on-time delivey, quality, orderliness, safety, maintenance of workplace, waste control management, and quality goods procurement process.
The continuous development of human resources is essential to accommodate the Company’s business needs. Demand for qualified human resources is met by conducting trainings for employees, through Total Construction Institute (TCI) within TOTAL’s environment or by sending them to attend seminars to hone their skills and competencies.
The rising trend of our human resources’ capability is in line with the good result of our Customer Satisfaction Index. This is proven by TOTAL’s repeat customer rate which continues to reach above 70% each year.
We have implemented cost efficiency strategy to offer customers a more competitive price compatible with the value embedded in each project. By deploying such efficiency, we have managed to increase our profit every year.
TOTAL’s CSR activities held in various project sites are being coordinated and evaluated by the Corporate Secretary. The activities which deliver values to the society will be continuously held. TOTAL has also participated in the foundation of Disaster Resources Partnership (DRP). DRP provides a platform for construction company to cultivate partnership and propel synergy within disaster management. DRP takes part, mainly in handling the first phase of disaster recovery and focuses more on engineering sector.
In the long run, TOTAL’s CSR programs are geared towards three major segments; employees, environment, and our local social communities.
We remain optimistic that with the target set according to the development of the domestic economy, TOTAL can leap to a more satisfactory performance in the future. In support of this effort, the Company has made some improvements and changes to adapt to the current trend and innovation in construction industry. TOTAL is confident that the development of the construction business will remain buoyant in the upcoming years, coupled by domestic and foreign investment growth in Indonesia.
We have gradually implemented Good Corporate Governance principles that are formulated according to Code of GCG & OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development). TOTAL has formulated policies with GCG Consultant to strengthen the Company’s existing structure of GCG. Such cooperation culminates in the production of good corporate governance guidelines that has been implemented since 2014.
TOTAL is confident to embrace a brighter future through its corporate plan. TOTAL will gradually improve its building construction portfolio in order to reach 15% growth in accordance with the decision from the Board of Commissioners. We will continue to increase the number of our qualified workforce, make innovation, transformation, and implement international standards in all our operations.
The Board of Directors profoundly thanks the Board of Commissioners and the Shareholders, Customers, and Partners for their unwavering support, trust, and cooperation, enabling TOTAL to grow and lead the Indonesian construction industry.
